False Positive Rate (FPR or probability of false alarm)
#Terms
WHAT IS… ?
The false positive rate of the test is the probability that we falsely reject the null hypothesis given that it’s true. If we see a value that comes from a larger sample, and we don’t consider it to be plausible, we may reject the assumption that the original review made by the system was accurate and generate a false alarm.
